I absolutely love this place! I have always had excellent customer service whether super or less busy. The food is always hot and delicious. This is by far The Best Burger I have ever eaten! I don't even know how many times I have been since they have opened, but I know it is a lot. Make sure to get their app too so you get reward points for free items. Hands down THE BEST grilled chicken sandwich I have ever tasted! Very very juicy and fresh. The fries were a bomb too. Totally beyond my expectations! After an adventurous month in South Africa, my wife and I were craving our routine of having homemade meals- hence the hiatus that I took from trying new restaurants and Yelping. When we decided to step back onto the scene, we wanted to make sure that it was something that would knock our socks off…The Melt did exactly that! Since the establishment is located roughly 30 minutes from our home, we decided to have our order delivered via DoorDash. My wife and often share similar tastes, so we both opted for the Double BBQ Bacon MeltBurger. I ordered the garlic parmesan fries, while my wife chose the cheddar bacon ranch fries. The garlic parmesan fries were good…but my wife’s bacon ranch fries were delicious (I stole a couple while she wasn’t looking)! On to the main event….the burger…my gawd it’s been quite awhile since I have had such a memorable burger. From the bun to the meats to the cheese, it was well worth it. I have The Melt bookmarked within my Yelp profile and am already looking forward to a future opportunity to revisit their menu!
The food was great! I got the standard cheeseburger and it was very cheesy, which I appreciated. The jalapeño relish on the burger worked really well, didn't make it really spicy at all, just added a bit of extra flavor. I got the garlic parmesan fries, and honestly they might have been a bit too garlicky for me, I wasn't expecting so much minced garlic to be in there. The soda fountain has sodas from a local (afaik) soda brand, and they were all pretty good. Service was great, I ordered at one of the kiosks so I could take my time looking through the menu. You get one of those pucks that vibrate when your order's ready after you pay. There's also a screen showing which orders are ready and which are being worked on still, which I thought was neat. The wait for the food wasn't long. While I was finishing up my meal one of the workers walked by each table to check up on everyone, offer a sample of one of their cookies, and ask us to leave a good review online :) The restaurant itself has a nicely decorated interior, chairs could maybe be a tiny bit more comfortable but I doubt it'd end up being a problem in the time it would take you to finish a burger. I'll definitely be coming back here next time I'm in the area and looking for food. Nice to have somewhere that's open late too, it seems like everywhere closes early these days
Absolutely phenomenal experience at The Melt. From the moment we walked in, everything just felt right. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean, and has that perfect balance of relaxed and energetic exactly what you want whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to really enjoy your meal. Timothy took care of us, and I’ve got to say top-tier service. Attentive without being overbearing, genuinely friendly, and made sure everything came out exactly how we wanted. You can tell he actually cares about the customer experience, and that makes a huge difference. Now the food… this is where they really shine. Every single item we tried was dialed in. The grilled cheese was perfectly crisp on the outside, warm and melty on the inside comfort food at its absolute best. The Impossible burger was packed with flavor and cooked just right, easily one of the better plant-based burgers I’ve had. The steak was tender, juicy, and seasoned perfectly. And the fries? Honestly some of the best fries around crispy, flavorful, and addictive. What stands out most is consistency across everything food, service, and atmosphere all hitting at a high level. That’s rare. If you’re anywhere nearby, it’s a no brainer. And even if you’re a bit out of the way, this place is 100% worth the drive. Spots like this are hard to find, and once you come here, you’ll understand why people keep coming back.
The best part of the meal today was the server Timothy. Nice young man who took care of my family and I. Garlic Parmesan fries were flavorful and seasoning was perfect. Strawberry lemonade was tasty and just right.
Tim and Kim were exceptional! The food was so delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I absolutely loved my Cesar salad and sweet potato fries. I also enjoyed my cookie and crème shake. I would recommend this place over and over again. Must try.
Hands down good juicy burger. My son got the double melt burger well done and it was delicious. Fries are well done and crispy and good. I got the steak house fajitas mac, also was delicious! I'd definitely choose this place again.
HOLY FREAKIN CRAP!!! This is our first time here and I’m so happy I stumbled upon this place! I looked up best burgers in Sacramento and it was 20 min from us and I was like yes we will make the drive! And seriously so freakin happy we did!!! Seriously delicious food with amazing staff (Timothy took our order and was so helpful!!) the atmosphere is amazing, very clean and a whole vibe. The bathrooms were even clean. Seriously if you need BOMB fries and a BOMB burger stop here!!!! You won’t be disappointed.
Had a great first experience here. Bradley helped us with making our order since it was our first time there. He was very sociable and accommodating. I got the spicy mission sub cheddar cheese, and my partner got the mac daddy sub chicken (for the bacon). They both looked and taste great. We tried the sodas and I really liked how much more refreshing they were compared to main stream brands. Thanks again Bradley and crew! We'll be back!
